  1. hey, I've been having problems where I will get Extremely low dl speeds during peak hours, sort of after 6 pm eastern time. I also get bad packet loss. My operating system is windows xp professional with sp2 my isp is optimum online, advertised speed is 10000 1000 i think tweaking hasn't worked that well for me, just caused problems so I think I am screwing up somewhere, these are my test results. I ran these tests at a non-peak time for me, they get much worse at peak hours. will post peak hour ones when I get a chance. thanks in advance for advice. http://ttester.broadbandreports.com/tweak/block:2b88149?service=cable&speed=9999&os=winXP&via=normal :::.. 2. yeah, was still happening after i had my firewall off and all of those ports forwarded. i'v been hearing that the new patch will fix some networking problems when it comes out.
  3. this happens while i am in game and playing, problem persisted with firewalls disabled, ports opened etc. i'v been looking around online and it seems that alot of optimum online users are having this problem. just wanted to see if anyone had a solution
  4. yes, and the problem continued after reformatting and reinstalling windows xp.
  5. Sometimes when I play battlefield 2 online, I get a message saying "there is a problem with your connection" and the game either freezes for a few seconds or kicks me off the server.. it seems to happen in bursts where it will happen every couple minutes and then gaps from a couple hours to a couple days where it will be fine. My isp is optimum online, and I am connected through a belkin wired router and a terayon cable modem. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
  6. 6:32 am and everything seems to have fixed itself. I have a terayon tj110, and my computer is connected to a hub, which is connected to a router. my brother's computer is connected to the hub, and a 3rd computer is connected to the router directly. i found another thread with optimum online problems, and found the ool settings in vanburen's pack. last night it haden't helped but today my speed is :::.. 7. I'm running windows xp with the p2p fix and sp2 my isp is optimum online and I haven't been able to find the advertised speeds :::..
