I don't exactly remember what encryption im using since i won't be home until tomorrow. My signal strength is always btween 90%-100% since the router is in the next room. I'll give you more details when i get home tomorrow.

I was just wondering if any one had any suggestions on how to speed up my wireless connection. my desktop computer gets the 4 meg download speeds i'm supposed to get. my laptop gets less than half that on 802.11g wireless. Connection is:: 1587 Kbps about 1.6 Mbps (tested with 2992 kB) Download Speed is:: 194 kB/s Tested From:: https://testmy.net/ (server2) Test Time:: Sun Oct 9 10:42:31 EDT 2005 Bottom Line:: 28X faster than 56K 1MB download in 5.28 sec

I still have the 4 meg connection... even though my wireless is so slow, i don't get to see the speed unless im on my desktop computer. any help with this would be appreciated
