  1. The modem lights remain on. This morning I had no connection. The modem reported: DOWNSTREAM Frequency 579000000 Hz Signal to Noise Ratio 35.8 dB Power Level -8.3 dBmV UPSTREAM Channel ID 0 Frequency 0 Hz Power 58.0 dBmV I rebooted the modem. I still had no Internet connection and I couldn't "repair" the connection. Here is what the modem reported: DOWNSTREAM Frequency 711000000 Hz Signal to Noise Ratio 35.1 dB Power Level -12.3 dBmV UPSTREAM Channel ID 2 Frequency 23000000 Hz Power 56.5 dBmV About 30 minutes later, I came back to the computer and I had an Internet connection. DOWNSTREAM Frequency 711000000 Hz Signal to Noise Ratio 34.8 dB Power Level -12.2 dBmV UPSTREAM Channel ID 2 Frequency 23000000 Hz Power 56.5 dBmV Does this tell you anything?
  2. Same issue is happening to me. Using Motorolla sb5101. Modem is one week old. Previous modem had same problem. Everything looks fine; I just periodically loose the connection. When I try to repair the connection, it says it can't. Power cycling the modem works 75% of the time. Sometimes I have to wait 30 minutes. Comcast has been here once and are scheduled again for later this week. Any suggestions? (In Seattle, Windows XP, no router)
