    Probably the most attractive reason to buy an AM2 system is AMD's strategy to stay with a certain socket for some time to enable simple processor upgrades and allow users to "drop in" a newer generation CPU down the road.

    lag spikes in game

    Im usin sbc yahoo, max at 1.5/384.. connected at 1248/384. Well, when im in game i keep getting lag spikes. although my ping stays low, around 40 on most servers in the U.S. ill just keep getting lag. I move forward, the lag moves me back and then forward again over and over... i turn and it turns me back. This is BF2 by the way. Iv already been through a topic with some people and it still does it. I have ran ewido, adaware and spybot, weakly actualy.

    Im pretty sure its not my comp, since i just built a new one a month ago, and even before with my old comp this would happen. Any questions post and ill answer

    no help, but i was about to build a new comp anyway, so i just installed windows and it was done. But im not saying he should

    edit- hmm i take that back, it still doesnt work for me half the time like right now i cant do it, this page cannot be displayed ot page not found.

    Well, im getting sick of the crashing, and only 512mb of RAM so i bought some new stuff. Should be here tomorow if GAY UPS doesnt delay my order even more... i already shouldnt have to pay for shipping since its been delayed for a week in kentucky, im in michigan

    Right now im running a AMD 2700+, Radeon 9800 pro, codogen 400 watt psu, and a peice of sh*t soyo-k7vme thats gonna kill me if i keep using it. It crashes every 10-40 minutes, exept in games it only crashes when im out of games.??

    Just wondering what kind of overclock ill be able to get out of this CPU and video card?

    What type of modem are you using? 2wire? if so go to gateway.2wire.net and see what its connected at. Right now I'm connected at 1.5 down and 384 up my max

    2 weeks ago i went to upgrade to the 3/608 line and they said my line wouldn't support it? Are they talking about the equipment? I used to be on 10/512k dsl then went down to 5/512k...
