hell no man i bought this router two weeks ago

distance dont think so my apartment is hella small i was thinking maybe interference gonna change the channel and i will see

I have a linksys wrt54g and when i use it wireless my speed are like 200 - 300 kbps (my adv speed is 480 down) when i plug the modem directly to the pc i get 500 + kbps why? any ideas?

hi again with another prob... my adv speed is 480/256 i know its weird but oh well im getting speeds over my adv which is great! sometime like 530 kbps but an hour ago i got 30kbps and now i get this :::.. cmd ipconfig where it says it all and yes im sure my default gate way its almost the same but not the same as the ip address

lets forget about the proxys i went to whatsmyip.com and it said another ip, in my computer it says 10.54xxx and in that site it said 66.231 xxxx

by the way i just used firefox ( i dint apply the proxys there) and it gives me a whole new ip in whatsmyip.com that what it says elsewhere

well i noticed yesterday i was having slow browsing and i called my isp and they told me i had a very weird ip adress 10.54.xxxxxx they tried to change it but didnt worked so i they told me to connect it to my router not directly to the modem and it gave a normal ip 192.xxxx so it kinda worked better and i hanged up because i had class so when i come home at night its slow again as hell and i was wondering what i can do i was thinking to change the ip manually but im not sure about that any suggestions?

i was planning on buying a new router since i bought a netgear 3 months ago and it doesnt work anymore it overheats or something... what a piece of crap well any suggestion I will have one wired pc and one wireless my network card is b and im not planning on spending more than 50 or 60 bucks any suggestions?
