Have you checked Road Runner Business Class? You might even be able to get a t1 for about what you are paying now.

Thanks richcornucopia. To clarify, the emails are going outside of our network. We send a lot of press releases, often with pictures attached. The thing is that this is not new, we've been doing it for years, it's only recently become a problem. I've heard that our ISP, Skyline Broadband, was purchased by US Wireless who fired much of the tech staff. They've made an attractive offer to increase our capacity, but it involves making a two to three year commitment. I hesitate to do that based on all of the current Internet problems we're encountering. I will see what Sprint can offer, but I've heard they're expensive. Can you recommend any other ISPs servicing Southwest Florida? Thanks again!
Have you checked to see that you are getting all the speed you are paying for? Try a speedtest during off hours to make sure you are getting close to 1meg. As far as other ISPs go, I'm not in Florida but I will check for you. How much are you paying per month for the 1 meg service so I can make some comparisons?

Hmm yea I just clicked that link and it seems clean of viruses. I know I clicked the link at it downloaded a file from some ip, starting with like 202. Maybe at that time I was directly connected. Let me go check the logs.
Got it. The link being spammed turns out to show up as
[ link]
but it actually links to the following which you should not click http://209.0*.24*.16*/public/profile.myspace.com.

I feel that those fines are way to high, but stations shouldn't even have to worry about that. The stations should have say a 5 second delay on their programs so if Janet's clothes malfunction again they have 5 seconds to go to commercial or cut the feed or do something.

Good idea.
Also the people who sent me that link seem to want to direct connect with me, that could be another thing the virus is doing.
-
It seems to just send that message automatically to your whole buddy list.

Just got this message from a person on my aim buddy list
(don't click the below link)
they're talking about us on myspace
[ link ]
I was dumb enough to click the link because it was from a trusted friend. Apparently it sends that link to everyone on your buddy list, besides that I'm not if does any damage. Luckily Kaspersky seems to have caught it right away.
Has anybody else seen or heard of this?

I finally got Vista installed using DAMON tools since i was having DVD trouble. Dual boot works just fine. I seem to be having trouble connecting wirelessly though cause wireless networks doesnt show up. I'll try and get some screenshots up later.
Is it a driver problem? Or just having troubles connecting to networks?

That must be very light.

Zenith IQC50H94W is what I have. There is a thing called Digital Setup and it shows this http://img66.imageshack.us/img66/7057/p61500229ud.jpg The blue + doesn't seemt o be aligned in the middle. But you can auto set it it says. But I need the remote which I left at my dads store. But do you think that'll fix the blue?
Try and take a pic with the flash off cause I can't really make out anything on the tv, looks like its off.

Police don't have to knock, justices say
Alito's vote breaks 4-4 tie in police search case
http://www.cnn.com/2006/LAW/06/15/scotus.search.ap/index.html
WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Supreme Court ruled Thursday that police armed with a warrant can barge into homes and seize evidence even if they don't knock, a huge government victory that was decided by President Bush's new justices.
The 5-4 ruling clearly signals the court's conservative shift following the departure of moderate Sandra Day O'Connor.
*more in the article*
anyone have a problem with this? No lawyer has to be present to insure that the warrant is legal, or that they are only allowed to search for cetain things or in certain areas?
So they don't even have to knock, they can just bust down the door and start searching? Even if they have a warrant you at least deserve a knock, and nobodys there or they choose not to answer then you bust down the door.
