  3. Only $15 per month over the standard charge. However you have to have Digital cable, RoadRunner, and Digital Phone to get this speed. about $180 per month. But I have The premium channels HBO etc in my Digital TV. You can get a 10/1 package if you have only Digital Cable and Roadrunner for $10 above your current bill. One thing I find interesting is that even at nearly $180 I still get a great deal. RoadRunner Business Class's Top Tier is 5/2 and costs $499 a month. So i'm getting 3 times the download, and the same upload at  1/3rd the cost and have TV and Phone service thrown in. Saving money on phone too, since there are no long distance charges with digital phone.

  4. From RoadRunner in Tampa FL.

    New 15/2 Tier.

  5. hispeedball, you wouldn't happen to be a Charter pipeline subscriber would you? if so I have news for you.. Charter is increasing the download limit from 2mb to 3mb for everyone nationwide thet had the 2mb/256 package.

that could explain the sudden increase..

  6. I'm on charter Cable in Traverse City. love the new speed increase. in the past year i've gone from a 256/128 connection to a 3000/256 one with only a slight increase in cost. when charter had the promotional 2000/128 thing I got hooked on that speed, and before reverting to the new 384/128 tier, I opted for the 39.95 2000/256 package. then to my surprise yesterday I power cycled my modem for unrelated reasons. and discovered I was downloading at nearly 400k/bytes per second. so i'm happy concidering I was paying $35 a month for the 256/128 before as part of a tv/pipeline bundle. $75 all together ($40 for the TV, $35 for the internet service i'd guess) though I now pay about $95 a month that's 39.95 a month for the modem and Digital cable with about 50 mor channels than I was getting before, so it's not a bad deal.

    I think

12 times the download speed, and twice the upload speed plus so many more tv channels.. is worth the extra $20
