I have the google toolbar installed on mine, but is there any way i can add a pop-up blocker. It seems as Firefox grows, so does the advertising and the pop ups.

Yeah, I'm sure its an ethernet because I have an actual phone cord on the other side of the computer. So with that out of the way, do you think its a problem with the router, modem, or comcast?

most likely an ethernet connection. I doubt I'd be getting even half of my speeds if i had it hooked up to a phoen cord. sorry, Im mere useless with the connection and rotuer stuff.

P.S. My downstairs computer runs through the phone outlet in the wall ( I believe ) and hooks up to the router. I took the cord coming from the phone outlet in the wall and hooked it up to the modem, and there was no connection on the downstairs computer.

Ok, i'll do that as soon as I can. Thanks a lot. By the way, on the downstairs pc i disabled windows onecare beta and the tracert was back to normal, timing out on the first 2.

Haha yeah, I saw that in church about 2 weeks ago. He originally had it playing the music outside, but after the cops came he ended up transmitting the sound to an FM station so others could hear the music.

I switched from Nextel to cingular, and so far cingular has been much better. ( They support way better phones too ( I have a razr)). Plus, cingular is coming out with a similar feature to nextel's Direct connect soon.

I have 768MB, However, it's slow sometimes. ( Especially playing videos in iTunes )

Im not sure, my computer seems to start up slowly, and then freezes. I normally just use AIM, Firefox, and iTunes. I have defragmented and ran ccleaner recently. I don't think I have many processes running either.
