Adelphia 4 meg down 384 up is what i pay for now its nice to get more than you pay for ....last 15 months ive been with direcway

cable has finally come to rural vermont what cable modem and any other tips on installation would best suit an adalphia connection,  Ive heard dual lines from the pole work better, one for cable tv one for high speed internet any advise?

I pay 59.99 a month us they claim 5 meg connection and 256 up never seen either

Check and see if bios recognizes your hard drives, maybe a motherboard problem, Try memory from other machine, or one bank at a time in different banks. Ive seen bad memory do some weird shit to computers.

Im running a dw4000 consumer account

Ive heard waxing will get you better signal  grounding will give you better upload........ I have done neither ......

I think they should add up your  cap for a month or give you 20 gigs a month so you can use it when you need it and dont have to fuck around with 179megs in a couple hours time...With all other isp's gaining speed by the year it wont take but a couple of years before direcway is so slow  and useless  that it wont be considered high speed alternitive, lets face it we pay top dollar for limited service and slow speeds it would be like buying a geo metro for the price of a corvette...but the end is near adalphia strung cable up my road a year ago and i think they are almost ready to get it up and running.......

the 155 million is mine and im not sharing any

hey guys the military has been using satellite communication for years and there up and down speeds are classified so we can only guess what they acheive......but you could probably cook a hotdog in record time if you were within 20 feet of their transmitters..So the technology is out there but it is expensive and regulated ....

We better sell all our direcway stock before this comes out  LOL

if you think a dw4000 will get you better than you are now I dont know what you are getting out of your dw6000. also if you buy a dw4000 you will need to setup a host computer (networking)  because the dw4000 isnt selfhosting this can be a big pain. this is a typical midnight sat speeds.
