Is it going to make a difference playing new age games on it compared to XP (pro) ? graphics? loading time? anything in basical generalness of playing games.

if i installed AIM on a flash drive, i could use it through that couldnt i?

As i have brought up before, the security at our school is pretty strict. They block every friggin thing and its extremly anoying... is there ANY way possible to get AIM or AIM express or anything so that i can socialize with my friends, because i have block scheduling and 3 out of 4 blocks i do NOTHING and would prefer to talk to friends and relitives. If all else fails ill just go buy a little flash drive and install AIM on that or something but i prefer to try to get around this security crap and get it so i can save cash.  Any ideas anyone?

Im sittng at school and i cannot access sites because my schools security is so strict... Is anyone up for helping me with a small task? i have been playing Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and i cannot get any walkthoughs or anything. What i need is for someone to find me the Missle Expansion Locations page, a page that just tells where all the missle expansion locations are and theres a real nice one on  faq.ign.com  ? i think its something like that. One thats just easy to understand on how to get them, and i need you to somehow put it in a text file for me to click and open up so i can print it out. Is that possible? if not then copy paste the whole page of locations in this topic and ill just copy paste into a word doc  from there.  haha

So i got this program that downloads streaming music off the internet and it saves as a wave file... is it possible to convert it to an mp3 or something that i can at least convert to an mp3?

So like, is there a way to capture//download streaming audio? For instance i found a band on  www.purevolume.com and you cant 'download' the song, is there a way to get it anywase? Because all you can do is just click it and stream listen to it

Me and my friend are experimenting in school and currently i can get as far as logging onto his computer. Im playing on the Vista beta and he is on XP pro and when i hit connect my friends computer IP appears at the top and then a XP account and password log in screen appears and we cannot figure out how to log in so i can on his comp. we have tried computer name creating an account everything.... anyone got any ideas?    -thanks a ton,  Sauce
