I used to have a program called docsdiag but apparently onelink disabled the way the proggie works, and with my motorola sb 5120 i can't see the caps.
Well then you have to check whats your modem ip. Because that is your router.
-

The motorola SB5101 is a very good choice, nice to have you with us surfing fast again.
Well my connection is now 100% fully fixed. The issue was a tweak somewhere deep within the registry. I managed to backtrack it to a change made by autopatcher under the tweaks section. After reseting all tweaks done and all the TCP/IP stack my speeds are perfect.

So if you have let autopatcher tweak your connection, beware. I also returned the 5120 modem to compusa and bought the 5101 at the onelink offices (significantly cheaper at 54.99 over 79.99 at compusa)

rebel i would definitely call those guys and see whats up, because Im not getting any problems here whatsoever in Guaynabo, what part you from??
how come I can't get anywhere CLOSE to 4 megabits. I stay in the 600 - 1500 range.
-
Rebel im worried about your speeds bro, do you have spyware/adware ?? I would recommend u scan ur pc and try to keep it as fresh as possible, have you tried using cablenut to optimize speed??
-
linksys : let us know how the linksys works.
do you have any packet loss? the motorola 5120 is notorious for having packetloss in onelink's network. Personally i'm using a linksys modem which I bought today and will be testing for the next 24 hours to see if it's worth replacing the terayong.
-
So far im testing my packet loss from pingplotter and dslreport and is working very good, If you guys want a good modem get the old SB5100 MOTOROLA
