    CA3LE:    Thanks for the Theme link.  Changed mine to the GREEN selection.  On the default I was having difficulty reading the top bar - Home,  Download Test, Upload Test, Community, etc.  With the green - No problem

    Mine started that crap this past Saturday night. Like Tommie cleaned scrubbed whatever - still happened. About wore my refresh botton out. Screwed everything. At times I couldn't get Google to come up the first time.  Finally went in and run my slider all the way down - accept all cookies. Stopped all that nonsense. Until I get this weird mother figured out. Bout had me pulling my hair out.

    No it's not on line.  Don't have a modem in it.  I have a few spare ones tho, I'll look them up and see if it will talk.  When I said it was slow - it's a 12MHz machine 80286,  640kB of ram and that ST-251 wasn't a barn burner.  I'll just have to see what I can do.  Let you know ,  down the road.  It's running DOS 3.11, had to put that in to be able to have a 1.44MB floppy drive - they were new back then. Good Microsoft or Logitek mouse would run you  $50 to $75 dollars.  Good Old Days -HUH !!!!!!

    Tried faxing today - didn't make it.  Forgot it had to go over phone line.  My 56K V92 Modem is in disabled mode right now.  To fax - all I have to do is enable my dialup modem?? Do I have to do something to my DW7000??

    Took two tries and listening to a dial tone for it to dawn on me I needed to do something I hadn't done - whatever that is!!!!!  Any ideas???  Thanks in advance

    You mean no-one has logged in with a 8088 machine still running!!!! Also; got to be some C-64 machines still alive too.  Remember the old giant floppy drives, the old 1.2's and their predecessors(?sp), full height HDD.  Got to be some oldies in some closets out there. A room full of computing power that you can carry in your pocket now. Remember the old DEC machines that you programmed manually, punch cards, 9-pin dot matrix printers - long time ago.  Brings a tear to your eye - doesn't it!!!!!  Just think - a single hard drive for your computer with a capacity of 1TB ( 1000GB )

    Wonder if I cound get my old 1985 Hyundai 80286 ( 12MHz ) with 640K and a 40MB Seagate HDD to hook up and run on this DW7000???  Prob. one of ya'll could I just don't know if I can.  Oldie but a Goodie?????  Would prob. be a struggle!!!!  I've got the mem. chips to put a meg. in it  but it splits at 512 - 512.  Got a spare Seagate 40MB HDD in it just for kicks. Running Dos 3.11 in it.

    Tommie:  Looks like the adjustments might have finally kicked in a little while ago.>  Was just crusing at my usual 850 to 900 then all of a sudden it jumped.  HOPE IT HOLDS!!!!!!!

    Tommie :  Shouldn't the 6000 U/L as fast as the 7000?  Here are some of my latest.  It seems like my TCP adjustments have leveled at about 850/127.  You think I can do any better or should I just leave well enough alone???

    Got to looking - Don't really know if I have Google Accelerator on this puter how can I find out?  Looked at the Web - didn't see how to tell if I have it installed !!!  Why would Speakeasy be the only affected???  I'm Happy with my 800+/124+. If it went any faster it would probably cause me WORK.

    My Home Plan says up to 700/128 with DW7000. SO, I'm Happy with what I've got.

    Only accelerator I have is for Bellsouth Dial-up and its disabled.  IF;  I have one running the other mirrors would be affected also wouldn't they???  I just don't know - I don't totally believe them but like I said my cache shows 16+MB when I run Speakeasy per run - so something is going on --- with Speakeasy's reports and a dollar I can buy a dollar bar of candy --- is as far as it goes and means.

    Like shining just the toe of your shoes or boots - "A TOE SHINE IS NO SHINE" ! ! ! ! !
