I searched the recovery partion on the HD, found nothing, I have the recovery dvd's so, I dunno.

I was having trouble with connecting to my wireless router, uninstalled the driver for the network card, tried to rollback to a previous version, failed, so I downloaded a new driver from the hp website. mine also does the same. I'd say its normal. It always pays to do a virus scan just to be sure.

got it to work, had broken codecs.

every time I try to import a video to burn, I get the following error: "could not make thumbnail. Make sure you have the appropriate decoder installed - 47010" then after I exit the program I get the: Microsoft Visual C++ runtime error: R6025 - pure virtual function call the thing is that I have never had a problem like this, until I downloaded .Net Framework 3.0. I went on the Sonic forums and someone said to download the XP Codec Pack 2.0.6.
