  2. Well, I am just about to go insane with cablenut ccs settings!! I must have tried 30-40 different variations ... and am not getting anywhere!!! I have Cox 9000 / 1000 (Wichita, KS) and according to the cox techs, I have a really good signal. Well, if it's so good, why am I only getting about 1/3 the speed I am paying for?!?! I need help...please! Here are my particulars: Win XP Pro, SP2 1GB Ram AMD 1800+ - Windows Firewall Disabled - Norton UNINSTALLED - I run SpyBot and AdAware on a regular basis - I remove TEMP files every other day - I run ccleaner - There is nothing checked under my LAN connection - Under LAN connections - no other protocols are installed - I am connected via Ethernet cable - I have never installed ZoneAlarm - I use various antivirus scanners: AVG, McAfee, Avast - I check for and download any/all Windows updates at least once a week - I have used CableNut, TCP Optimizer ... and so far without luck! - and I have been doing my prayers, but again...no luck Below are my results with https://www.speedguide.net:8080 -- and below that are my speed test results -- and below that are my current cablenut settings... If anyone has ANY suggestions on what I should try...or of you can share cablnut ccs fiels...I am all ears and would VERY MUCH appreciate it!!!!! ------- SpeedGuide.net TCP/IP Analyzer ------- TCP options string = 020405b40103030301010402 MTU = 1500 MTU is fully optimized for broadband. 3. tommie ... I did that ... but it didnt help all that much.... dn0 .... I guess that is what to expect then...I did NOT turn off the windows firewall, as that's not truely a realistic result...meaning, do you normally have it off while on the net? Mine is always on, so I guess I can just expect to be getting 5-7meg Anyway, here are the latest results with the firewall ON, as well as the cablenut settings I am using....if there are any errors in the settings, PLEASE let me know!! :::.. 4. It's OK I would like to know though if someone wouldn't mind posting or sending me their cablenut settings for Cox 9000/1000 ... I used VanBuren's version 9 - Cable & DSL 10000.ccs ... but I didnt get a very good boost - running between 5000 and 7000 kbps. I have both TCPOptimizer and Cablenut....used both...and just dont seem to get near the results as many others here....I am sure it's something I am doing (or not doing) that is the cause, but I sure could use some help!! I would really like to get near the 9meg mark Anyone willing to share ccs settings for Cox 9000/1000?
