  3. Hi, i am on rogers soon. This is what im getting soon.

www.bell.ca/condotv , The modem/box thing provides tv and hi-speed internet. Is there anything i should look for?

I also would like to know if i would still have to get a modem, and what are the prices, i know it says 35.99 for the first 12 months, some people get lower than that, i dont know how.

How does this condotv/internet thing work, can someone clarify it, i also have a linksys router, i think they provide a free wireless router when you order their hi-speed service.

Im on a router (BEFSR41 Version 3 and new firmware on it). My two computers on the router have only client for microsoft and TCP/IP in LAN properties . Bypassing router doesn't help. I am on ethernet. I have checked for spyware and viruses already. Everything is fully updated.

  5. Dont worry, thats normal speeds, rogers never gives the real cap, i know a lot of people and they get from 4 mbps to 4.7, depends on the location/modem/router. Did you run ccleaner, adware, and spybot, they always help, aslo check for viruses/trojans. And you will be getting then upgrade soon at no extra charge.

  6. Rogers extreme is going to be 6.0/800 with 100 GB bandwidth limit, if you are payinh 46.95 you should get the upgrade by the end of this month. Call rogers if you don't. I have rogers too, trust me sometimes speeds can go down to 900 kpbs, disable firewall and delete cablenut settings and try a new speed test, power cycle modem, that usually helps me as well. Also if you have an old modem, demand rogers to upgrade, ive heard something about free modem upgrades to retired modems and modems that are not docsis.

YOur upload is above cap, dont worry about that, i wish i could get that.
