I live in upper CT, and I can spit on Bradley Int'l Airport. I think this actually helps me out. My bundled discount is about $10, I have DVR plus HBO OD, and my phone. All 3 cost me about $140/mo (provided my woman's 8 y/o doesn't go hog wild with ordering new releases). I haven't had any problems to speak of yet. and for the price - I think it's worth it. I've had DSL and unless you live next to the server...forget about speed (16,000 ft seems quite limiting). Too bad you can't experience the joy of 15/2...it's the only way to go...unless you have the money for a T1 or better. :::.. Just out of curiosity...what part of the country do you live in? I pay $49.99 for the 15/2 package (I have bundled services as well, but that's internet portion of it), but I was thinking that for 8 bucks a month and a difference of 10 Mb....one of us is getting shafted....not sure who it is though....

When I first got the setup back in June, I didn't test until about a month later. Back then I was getting 11 and 12's after TCP Optimizer, I was getting 13's or better. I forget where I posted it...but once I even got a 17. It has settled back down to 13-15 as you can see, but that's good enough for me. Besides, your connection is only as fast as the network will allow. Some sites I can download at 1.5 megs....others 20KB. So I really don't need a whole lot of speed like that of a T4...But I do DL alot so I wanted the fastest that was available to me. I'm also a tweakhead...so I wanted to see how much the 15/2 I could take advantage of. BTW, I DL Cablenut....Is it me, or do you have to be an IT guru to figure out all of those categories? Way to much for me to do. TCP is so much simpler, and I'm guessing (since they both operate on the same principles) just as effective. [
