  1. yea lol, i think i have a record in rebooing my pc after testing diffrent tweaks you wont go any faster then this im afraid, you are very close to your UDP speed in Tptest and that indicate there is nothing more to do. you can change back to that Telia tweakfile, but then i think your upload will slowdown abit. VanBuren
  2. hey ze_abreu and welcome to the forum 394 KiloByte/second is your speed 394 x 2,6 seconds = 1024,4 KiloByte = 1 MB VanBuren
  3. upload increased, it might be the high traffic that slow down your downloadspeed aswell go to www.tptest.se and download tptest, what speed do you get there? and also test my server http://thegamer.serveftp.com/ use the 20 MB test file and 2992 KB upload file VanBuren
  4. hej igen the first 2 hop seems abit unstable, but the rest looks good, it might just been something temporay but if you have a long phone extension wire try using a short one and leave your modem at the first main jacket in the house. also they can be damaged and its hard to see that anyways, i want you to try a tweak i have for Comhem 8/1 i know its a cable tweak, but lets see if it will work for your dsl. some dsl connection is very sensitive to high RWIN values but lets see what happens, its easy to change back if it dosent work out. download this file i attach and unzip it to C:ProgramCablenut after that load the tweak from adjuster and click save to registry and reboot, also reboot your modem for 30 seconds make a new tweaktest and post URL again and also make a new speedtest, use the 2992 KB test both downstream and upstream good luck VanBuren
  5. it was pobl some lag spike, during hevy traffic nodes can freak out and cause packetloss, and then go back to normal again. VanBuren
  6. no problem i ran out of ideas, try google i dont know VanBuren

  9. call your ISP and ask why you have this high ping to your gateway, a gamer would hate this cos you can never have a lower ping to a gameserver then to your gateway. 2 53 ms 50 ms 50 ms 64.230.254.10 VanBuren
  10. what upload speed do you get, and what is the cap? VanBuren
  11. Men tjenare always fun to see some Swedes here aswell, we are very rare ppl you might want to try these steps and see if you can speed up it abit more https://testmy.net/topic-2097 i have a version 4 now, give it a try VanBuren
  12. if you using this file C:ProgramCablenutVanBurens_cablenut_settings_version_4vanburens_cablenut_settings_version_CABLE_FIBER_DIAL-UPWinXP_2K_CABLE_DSLMSS1460 Cable & DSL 5000 768.ccs that file has a DefaultRecivewindow of 624640 and thats the value you should see in that analyzer with SP2 installed and the tcp analyzer says you have 64240 thats typical for ppl that dosent have SP2 installed, cos they read the TcpWindowsize and not DefaultReceivewindow so something is way wrong on your end, cos the Analyzer works great. its reporing my DefaultReceivewindow and not TcpWindowSize... TCP options string = 020405b40103030301010402 MTU = 1500 MTU is fully optimized for broadband. MSS = 1460 Maximum useful data in each packet = 1460, which equals MSS. Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 384000 RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 3 bits (scale factor of 6) Unscaled Receive Window = 48000 For optimum performance, consider changing RWIN to a multiple of MSS. Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS: 513920 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 256960 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4) 128480 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2) 64240 (MSS x 44) bandwidth * delay product (Note this is not a speed test): Your RcvWindow limits you to: 15360 Kbps (1920 KBytes/s) @ 200ms Your RcvWindow limits you to: 6144 Kbps (768 KBytes/s) @ 500ms MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON Time to live left = 51 hops TTL value is ok. Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON IP type of service field (RFC1349) = 00110000 Precedence (priority) = 000 (routine) Delay = 0 (normal delay) Throughput = 1 (high throughput) Reliability = 1 (high reliability) Cost = 0 (normal cost) and my TcpWindowSize is 64240 VanBuren
  13. https://testmy.net/board-21 try that VanBuren
  14. hey bamafamily and welcome to the forum we have alot of good stuff here, check out the Guides, also tell your friends about this place VanBuren

  19. thanks for the feedback ddriesse I have reduced the TCP windowsize and GlobalMaxTcpWindowsize to fit most ppl, but there will always need some finetuning, and if i receive more ppl on 5 Mbps package reporting this i will change it again to finetune that check this guide http://thegamer.serveftp.com/FAQ.htm start here " 25. Run this TCP analyzer http://forums.speedguide.net:8117/ " VanBuren
  20. hey pontare and welcome to the forum thats abit below average speed here, what Internet Service Provider do you have? and what speed do you pay for? VanBuren

  23. its probl true, im not very good at wireless transfers but distance, weather will impact on your latency and speed. it might be so that your ISP has too many clients on the gateway router, i do not know. VanBuren
  24. some of the cablenut tweaks change flowcontrol, thats why you can see this, the important thing is what the speed are..... if you using default settings you get less "pauses" and a lower constant speed. VanBuren
  25. ok, where is the gateway located? is it far away from your home? VanBuren
