@LimaBalls. Nice story from a good memory I have worked at the Environment/Forestry for 3 years and all the computers were "desktop" Macintosh air cooled. The switch was Cisco 10 Mbps. The price of Macintosh was 3 X more expensive than PC with Windows 98. All Macintosh, were replaced by IBM, destop, black cover, and now have Lenovo (good price/quality) with I5 CPU. Fluorinert™ Liquid FC-40 is new to me. Have fun

My first PC was a 486 with 40 MHz, Windows 3.11, CRT display, dial-up internet with US Robotics V90 modem. Take care

Your Servers in London and Frankfurt are excellent for European countries, with 30-35 ms Latency for Portugal. For my location the latency is 32+30-35 ms. The most westerly island of Azores - Portugal. São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro cities have 12 and 7 million people, and they might be happy to have TMN in Brazil, with beautiful beaches. Good luck

My first fiber to home (FTTH) was 60/3Mbps in 2015. Good luck -
The internet speed is good. The notebook with 4GB RAM on the motherboard for elementary scholl should be replaced in the near future. We remember the excellent texas instuments calculators. Congratulations.

Amazing and cool ! A Life time dream. Thanks for posting I was a fan of AMD, they are excellent and less expensive than Intel. The chinese already have 7nm chips. The 3B6600, for example, is claimed to perform at par with Intel 12th—and 13th-generation CPUs thanks to its new eight LA864 cores with a clock frequency of just 3 GHz My family PC for Gaming have I7 8700K recommeded at the time by Tom´s Hardware. I am not a gamer and my 2023, ASUS Notebook have Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz RAM: 16,0 GB Graphic card 8 GB SSD: 952GB Display 15.6" 240Hz 3ms G SYNC Pantone colors Windows 11 PORT 1 Gbps. Latency in the server in Nairobi, Kenya - Africa
Frank225 replied to Frank225's topic in New Members
Hello from studio G Did you know that Panari Ice Skating ring in the heart of Nairobi offers Wi-Fi for visitors? https://eastafricatraveltips.com/the-rainy-season-in-kenya-detailed-guide-for-tourists/ We hope they will not introduce 60GHz frequency because it interferes with oxygen molecules. Did you made a latency test test to Africa? California,US should have higher latency because of the distance. 20 october 2024, 11h49 UTC Obrigado -
Thank you TMN for choosing a Server in Germany, the second closest to my location after London GB. My latency is 70-75ms. My cars are Opel from Germany and have Wi-Fi Bluetooth. Germany is a great country, Biden and USA want to sell expensive energy to Germany and Europe. My sister has an electric BMW. The Internet speeds in Germany are not the fastest in Europe, https://www.studying-in-germany.org/most-incredible-german-scientists/ Danka

Hello Does anyone know if the house of the "genious" Nikola Tesla was born, today a museum has Wi-Fi Internet. I believe TMN closest Server is in Frankfurt, Germany. The Latency from New York to Zagreb, Croatia is less than 200ms. https://www.worlddata.info/europe/croatia/telecommunication.php Nicola Tesa invented the Radio "wireless communications" and not Marconi.

Hello. We would like to have some information on your TMN server in South Africa? My oldest uncle lived in South Africa and California. My cousin Sindi, Suzanne is an intelligent woman.https://www.sindilab.com/ Her mother best song was Hotel California. My latency is 200ms similar to Kenya because of the distance from my home. 1000ms = 1 second. 200 is 1/5 of a second. Fiber optic is better for large and fast telecommunications. Starkink Satellite (Low Orbit) is good for remote areas if there is no 4G and people can aford 50 dollars + electricity/month. A Server at my location would be useless to have because the latency is Madrid Spain + 40 ms. London + 60 ms. https://www.worlddata.info/africa/south-africa/telecommunication.php
