  2. windows mobile is far better then palm OS. there are a few im clients for palm if you look around on google im sure you could find some. There are many more for windows mobile. You can get apps at for palm os at download.com

    Good, to hear that.  :cheesy: All I got to do is get a miniSD, since I cant add many things to the cell phones memory (which is only 54Mb).

  3. Looks nice. I myself purchased a new PDA/Smart phone, I got the Motorola Q a couple day's ago.  I wouldn't know which would be better from the Palm OS and WM OS, since this is my first PDA/ Smart phone. But the Motorola Q runs on Windows Mobile 5.0, which for now do like how it functions. The only IM app that it should have I think is MSN Messenger and MSN Hotmail, I think for the Palm Treo you have to buy AIM (check on http://mobile1.aol.com )...  you can get Yahoo Messenger for free, I was able too but with Yahoo you have to use the internet so theirs the downer (at-least for me :sad:). Their is free apps (rarely) you can get but have to find them but they all mostly cost money (which in my opinion sucks).

    Here is my cell phone:

  4. Hi I F1NAL I, sorry for another neg. post on this car, I just phoned a friend ,

    a BMW mech/parts specialist , He says no at any price, that model had serious problems with the engine , he has made a fortune doing engine swaps on that model ,

    "  The 328i is often a model to steer clear of. It was plagued by problems with its Nikasil cylinder liners and this often resulted in new engine warranty claims. The flipside of this is that there may well be some very well looked after low mileage 328i models with replacement engines that would make a great buy. "

    apparently the only BMW car affected this way , just thought you should know these facts , sorry guys for the double post , but I thought this info warranted it ,

    straight from the horses mouth , as we say in the UK

    Did you tell him it was a 1996, I checked and the motors on those years came out good.

  5. BMW makes a good car.  Of course, for its age, you can never know what you're getting.  Be sure to take it for a nice drive before you decide.  For me, that's how I decide whether I like a car or not.

    I did, it run's smooth.  I also checked on msn.com and the 1996 model came out very good and it costs $9,875 - $11,050 (Kelley Blue Book).

  10. it wont work if your isp blocks snmp.

    from  http://homepage.ntlworld.com/robin.d.h.walker/docsdiag/#cispdis

    How to tell if your cable ISP has disabled SNMP

    Before contacting me to query why you can't get any results from DocsDiag, or why the only messages you get from it are:

        * Cable modem not found

        * Host xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx not responding

        * Search for cable modem unsuccessful

    then please check first whether your ISP is blocking the use of SNMP, as follows (but do not try this with the 3Com CMX):

        * Configure your PC's IP settings out of DHCP and assign a static IP address of 192.168.100.xxx where xxx is in the range 2 to 254 inclusive, with sub-net mask 255.255.255.0 and default gateway 192.168.100.1. Let it restart if it wants to.

        * Power off the cable modem.

        * Unplug the TV coax cable from the cable modem.

        * Power on the cable modem again, and, after its self-test has finished, try using DocsDiag with no parameters. You should get an immediate response of the normal DocsDiag output, as shown in the section Typical Output above, but with data which is meaningless, because the cable modem is offline. (If you don't get any DocsDiag output at this stage, something else is wrong which you need to look into).

        * Reconnect the TV cable to the cable modem, and keep trying with DocsDiag. If DocsDiag stops working and reverts to Cable modem not found at the moment that the cable modem goes online (the LEDs settle down), then this is evidence that your ISP is disabling your use of SNMP. On the other hand, if DocsDiag continues to work, then you are now successfully using the customer-side recipe.

        * Remember to configure your PC's IP and DNS settings back into DHCP (automatic) after making this test.

    If it is your ISP that is disabling your use of SNMP, then there is nothing that I can do to help you. This issue is between you and your ISP.

    It's my ISP that is disabling the use of SNMP.  :angry:
