  2. Also I just ran this test, and it said I had a Duplex mismatch condition. What is that and how do I fix it? 5. Also I have no firewall, no spyware, no adware, and my virus scan is clean.
  6. Ok I'm out of ideas. I have Comcast's upgraded 6mbit service. The third comcast tech guy just left here telling me my connection was fine, and there wasn't anything else they could do. My speeds average between 3.5-4.5 download. Below is a typical result. Before this problem started I was getting 5.8-6.0 every time. When the problem first started I was getting really poor latency and about 2% packet loss. Now I no longer have the packet loss problem, but latency is very inconsistent. Pinging yahoo and google can vary from low 30ms to 120ms at any given time. My upload speed is pretty near what it is supposed to be. The tech guy said my DOCSIS or whatever that is was -2. He said that was as near perfect as it gets. I use Windows XP SP2 and have tried both the default settings and the suggested 6000/768 settings with Cablenut. Nothing seems to help. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks in advance! :::..
