Somewhere, in a metro area to the NE of you, I've been hitting these speeds on an S.A. DPC2505 consistently for about 11 months (all legit, gear/account/bootfile built for 50X5/etc)... Perhaps worth noting is that I did need to tweak my stack a bit (XP SP2) to hit my max - *particularly for the upstream*. YMMV on the stack tweaking... I've been running this copy of XP for ages, so I wouldn't be surprised if my 'tweaking' was actually just 'fixing' something pre-existing...

And FWIW -- Even if your service level only allows you to hit 22Mbps at the moment - you're still getting a huge leg up with the D3 modem [sB6120?] and service... <A> Your area now has 4X the D/S bandwidth available... <B> I doubt there are many others in your area with D3 modems... Meaning those extra 3 channels will be pretty lightly loaded, and available for you to hit your 22Mbps nice and consistent.
