if tweaking doesn't help much call em up and give them hell. switch to a good provider. you canadians got some decent isp's over there with good speeds.

he must have been smoking some good stuff. i highly doubt that your gonna see good speeds on satellite for a long time.

Little over a week ago they upgraded almost everyone

about the same speeds i get with the 3000/256 plan. since upgrade i've been getting 4500/350 daily.

check out google. i always find stuff for my cellie there. that place is loaded with ringtones.

i believe it will work for ps2 online but not for games like socom. i don't believe it works for x-box live. since it requires a broadband connection and i doubt microsoft considered sat. broadband. ur gonna need decent upload speeds for the constant sending packets back and forth while playing and sat. sucks at sending data cause of the distance it has to travel. DirecWay requires a usb modem and that's included with your installation.

with a little bit of tweaking i've been able to get mine higher too!  my d/l is supposed to be at 4000 with the new adelphia regular HSI speed increases

I'd suggest sticking to dial-up instead of messing around with Direcway. Costs are wayyy too much and your speeds won't even compare to dsl/cable users. Your download speed might be great compared to dial-up, but your upload speeds are gonna be terrible almost the same as dial-up. If your a big fan of playing games online or uploading lots of shiznit stay away from direcway!!

I dunno Van i doubt i will see Fiber for awhile dude  i'm out here in the sticks and the only thing avaiable to me is DirectWay,dialup or Adelphia HSI. Lemme just say when adelphia started offering high speed about a year ago it was a tough decision if i should switch from aohell to adephia
