  1. Macau, a tiny special administrative region of China, appears to have overtaken the famous Las Vegas Strip as the world's top gambling destination.

this is not me making it up its BBC http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/6083624.stm

Las Vegas has been the long-time champ on the world gambling scene, but an up-and-coming player is elbowing its way to the table: Macau. The Special Administrative Region (SAR) of the People's Republic of China is currently one of the world's fastest growing gaming markets. It is estimated that during the next few years Macau will not only replace the Las Vegas Strip as the largest gaming market in the world in terms of revenue, but will also turn China into the world's second-largest global gaming jurisdiction, after the U.S.

this is not me saying its the business week http://www.businessweek.com/investor/content/jun2006/pi20060608_011406.htm

  2. Swimmer regarding the Antec case you wondering

here is the comments from a friend of mine who has one

Great case but know what you are going to be putting in it.  If you are putting more than 2 hdd in the bottom section, get the 120mm extra fan.

Assure good air flow with round cables like : http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16812105907 and http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16812123149

Plan on using Velcro cable ties

  3. hi guys

i had not seen this so sorry for not looking into it again

unfortunately i don't think i this thread is good enough for a sticky

imagine if you are new and come into this forum

and look into the smart bro section

if u look into this thread there is lots of information but scattered over a lot of pages

it is not friendly to the new users, and most likely who is going to read trough 10 PAGES of a forum ?

elijahpaul or any other smart bro user

i ask you to make one new thread with a guide / suggestion

on how to tweak ur canopy wireless antenna and all your experience on it

if you have a step one two three kind of thing

in one post then i can make that sticky

but i think making this thread a sticky would be confusing for the new users

cause its difficult to understand the information unless u read all 10 posts

do you agree with me ?

  5. well, if there is data on it that you really need you can either send it to the pros for a lot of money or buy the same drive (exactly the same drive) and take both apart and swap the media. that is what the pros usually do. mind you you will need a clean (ultra clean) environment to do this in and some technical skill. but with some luck you might be able to pull the data off. you can probably google quite a bit about how to proceed to pul this feat off.

this would be an amazing project

so i put my old 40G on her laptop

and her broken 40G is not lying around the house

btw guys thank you for confirming what i already knew

    ITS DEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAD

  6. Hi guys

i have a friend of mine who has a HD from her laptop

basically she was working on it got a BSOD and the pc would not boot any more

i tried to do a windows recovery and got as far as the windows loading screen and then it would just restart

it was not over heading or anything like that

so i inserted a new HD in her laptop installed every thing and works like a baby now

so i have the old HD with me and i got a cable to connect from 2.5" to USB

it just wont recognize the hd at all, if i plug in a good hard disk takes 2 seconds and it works

so i left the hd connect to my pc and eventually after listening to click click click on the hard disk

it showed up in Computer Management > Disk Management

but the all pc goes to a halt when its trying to read that other faulty HD

is there anyway at home you guys think i can do to this HD

considering that i can't even get any pc to recognize it or i need to send it to data recovery professionals ?

i think its either a sector that has gone corrupt and the HD wont read pass it

or the arm reader it self had gone faulty
