If you compare your speed to dsl-verizon.net you will be getting full speed. (verizon.net) is mostly 3mb / 768kbits or FIOS....

How can I get a hold of verizon? To ask if I can upgrade? Thanks.

Around 6:30PM, The internet gets very slugish, high pings lowest I can find is 75...Right now I can get 5-20 ping..

Comcast HAS a problem.

You think 8 megs a second is fast? Try 15 megs a second with a 2 meg upload.

Yeah. I got my dad on ma ass about him bein able to use his laptop (wierlessly)  with the connection

So if I set my Cablenut settings to like 100000/1000000 i'd jack all the b/w?

If I use this, and I LAN with my friends; will this have my computer using more bandwith? and/or effect my conncetion speed? If im on DSL at my house..and I go LAN at my firends who has cable...5/370

Hi. I'm not sure if this question has been asked before, but do you HAVE to use the router verizon gives you? or can you use your own wierless router with it. Or is the speed to fast for a regular router to handle? Sorry I don't know.

Probably not for awhile. They've been saying FIOS was in Murrieta, CA. But I still can't get it; even if I call them. But in 3 weeks it should be avalable here.

I've had 25 people LANing on it without a problem. Pinging 1-15 in CS the whole time. AND browsing websites on the 5/2 package

It had to of been the sickest LAN ever. And the tech said that FIOS should be avalbable in my area in 3 weeks.
