hmmm i just pulled my ethernet adapter out of my other box and put it into this one but it doesnt seem to pick it up any idea why? this also happened with my other ethernet adapter

umm i just forgot to include one detail. when the guys came to install it they said my ethernet adaptor didnt work so they put it throught USB. would this make any difference?

First of all i would like to thank VanBuren for his Guide which speeded up my connection by a staggering %125. This Teusday i got Telestra BigPond Cable, i thought i would be very fast, but even after tweaking my connection it never goes 180kb's+.
