Up to a couple days ago I was getting about 2, to 2.5 Mbps from this computerr. Then I thought I would try to tweak it so I read VanBurens advice fron his web site and downloaded cable nut. Now look, boy did I ever screw something up. Please help.

Hi, How do I change back my computer to the way It was before I made changes? I was trying to tweak my internet settings and followed Van Burrens site. I downloaded cablenut and made changes and my speed went from about 2.5mbps to about 56kbps. I have tried to reset things back to the way they were but can't get it fixed. This computer is a laptop running xp. I also have a desktop and another lap top on my home wirerless network and they both work normally. Please help

thats just it budbem I don't have the line that has view, tools,file etc. on the page so I can't click on it. Thats my problem. That line is missing. The only thing I can drag is the whole window. Nothing happens when I click on the line that has the back & forward arrows and home page icon, etc. Also when I put my arrow over the icons they don't say what they are suppose to say. Example: I put my arrow on the refresh button and it says; encoding, on the stop icon it says; paste everything is really screwed up

Thanks Van Buren, But have tried that. When I right click on tool bar I do have I don't get any drop down menus. Nothing happens. This has really got me stumped.

need some help please. Got on the Internet couple of days ago and noticed I did not have the 2nd line of my top tool bar, This ids the one that has file, view,tools,etc. I have asked on other forums and got nowhere. I don't think it is just hid, I have tried all the normal things to get it back but nothing works. Any Ideas.
