amc11890 Posted December 30, 2005 CID Share Posted December 30, 2005 Whenever i attempt to play need for speed most wanted on my pc, whether the setting are all the way up or low i am constanlty having to deal with my gpu "hiccupping" if u now wat i mean. The screen just pauses for a split second or so and resumes. This is not a major problem but it can get very annoying. I no my cpu is below minimal requirements but could that be causing the problem or could it be something else like insufficient memory. BTW the hiccuping also occurs in BFV and BF 1942 . My specs are in my sig
RTB Posted December 30, 2005 CID Share Posted December 30, 2005 Lack of CPU power, lack of memory, video card is fine.

RTB Posted December 30, 2005 CID Share Posted December 30, 2005 The real-world difference between AGP 4x and 8x is negleglible, so don't worry about that.

RTB Posted December 31, 2005 CID Share Posted December 31, 2005 And remove the 128 MB pc2100 while you're at it, it's not going to be helpful with the added 512 MB.
