cdf216 Posted January 11, 2006 CID Share Posted January 11, 2006 first thing to do is make sure all antivirus and firewall software is disabled when running the speed tests. Also try running a test with the computer connected directly to the modem, without the router. The RWIN looks ok for a 5000/384 connection. cablenut Posted January 11, 2006 Author CID Share Posted January 11, 2006 Took off antispyware and antivirus and connected to the modem direct. This increased speed to around 2.5. Any other suggestions????

After downloading it, open it, click save to registry, reboot and retest.

x FiReMaN x Posted January 11, 2006 CID Share Posted January 11, 2006 contact RR and get a tech over there to check your signals and whats wrong with your connection, tweaking won't help you out, its your modem and its something on the line. Ask the tech when he comes over to try a new SB5120 modem.
