I hooked it up to the internet and registered with microsoft and when i was finishing up HP registeration my internet stopped working. I cant even get on the dial up anymore. I tried 3 of my friends house and still doesnt work? What the hell happened? Ive tried everything. My buddy told me that hp could have gotten the mac address and maybe the notebook was stolen???? richcornucopia Posted January 18, 2006 CID Share Posted January 18, 2006 Maybe there is a driver issue, have you tried updating your ethernet driver. If you tell me the model I can find you the driver.
