If you have bought your comp and installed WIN XP SP2 within 1995, it is most likely RC2 version.

Please note that increasing your TCPIP.SYS setting from 10 to 50 will not affect your download speed.

What it does is to assist faster loading of web pages provided you have sufficient bandwidth.

You will need to tweak your browser to find the optimum setting. IE and NetCaptor do not have tweak options. FireFox with FasterFox extension and Opera have this option.

Cablenut has settings which you can use to limit the number of connections. Recommended setting in Cablenut is

MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server - 20

MaxConnectionsPerServer - 10

If you have larger bandwidth (3 Mbps and more) you can set both values to 32.
