ok im not sooo good in the field, but i have a direcway dw 6000 modem and i can't seem to download anything through bitcomet or dc++ umm my info if you need it is Satellite

now if someone could give me step to step on how to configure this to work right i would be soo thrilled, also give me some sugestions on how if i should download tweakers like this tcp optimizer thing i keep hearing about thanks again

As for BitComet and DC++... I'm not even sure they will work on satellite :-| (and if they do, it won't be very fast...) also you can't download more than 169MB in 4 hours due to Direcway's Fair Access Policy (unless you have the Pro package, then it's 350MB)

I have the 7000, so I'm a little bit faster upload wise, but I've found a bittorrent program that works good with my Dway system, it's called utorrent: http://www.utorrent.com/ .

Like php said, watch the FAP, but with max speeds on the torrent of 50kb/s for me, I don't think I can hit the FAP in 4 hours.
