Dragonbreak Posted January 28, 2006 CID Share Posted January 28, 2006 A couple of weeks ago, I went to this site and did everything in the sticky except for using the Cablenut program. I had an amazing Download speed with a moderate upload speed. Now, my computer had to be erased because something was wrong and I had to start from fresh. I DLed Spybot, Ad-Adware SE, Tune-Up Utilities, Sunbelt Keros Firewall, Microsoft Antivirus. I updated all the windows patches, searched for virus, adware, spyware. Defragged my computer, optimized my internet using Tune-Up Utilities. Also, DLed TCP- Optimizer Now, when I test my DL speed .. It DLs everything fine UNTIL!!! It gets to the Largest File of 5932 kb. It always stops DLing at 48, 50, 51, 98%. It never finishes! Also, my father is an electrician, wire specialists .. and for some stupid reason he .. Cut the cable wire and said he "made it better". So that might be something in mind. I followed everything in the Sticky .. but I'm at a lost for words now... Please help! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I imagine that the difficulty with the other file was that some software on your machine was having a hard time with the progress bar.
