vemzetti8 Posted January 29, 2006 CID Share Posted January 29, 2006 I am having trouble with one of my laptops, it is about a 1 1/2 years old but in great working condition. ONLY one problem, it stopped detected the wireless card that i have for it. It doe not respond to it anymore. I used 2 other wireless cards in the slot and still no luck. Does this mean that the slot itself is damaged? the cards work perfectly with other laptops. and if it is damaged, do i have to replace the whole motherboard to get wireless internet on my notebook? thanks! FGOKURULES Posted January 30, 2006 CID Share Posted January 30, 2006 Hell make sure there isn't a irq conflict in the bios also,, and look for any suspicious new software/hardware that you recently installed
