Guest helloimtim Posted February 3, 2006 CID Share Posted February 3, 2006 Sorry no tweak is gonna fix that one. Look for spyware and or virus.
Stank_Ho Posted February 3, 2006 CID Share Posted February 3, 2006 Welcome Luke. Listen, might you have anything else running ie; ZoneAlarm or some kind of virus protection? Have you tried any cablenut settings yet? And yes, do a complete system scan to be sure you got no spyware issues.
Luke777 Posted February 3, 2006 Author CID Share Posted February 3, 2006 Well i got ad-aware and spybot ccleaner and i defrag often update often as well. i looked through the forums a bit and tried using the cable dsl 3000 256 and restarted and my bit torrent speeds went from like 32kb/s to 22kb/s roughly. As for other running programs i got the ati toolbar razer mouse drivers soundcard drivers and my virtual cd rom . Its been like this for quite a while since i downgraded but im pretty sure it shouldnt be this slow.
burnaflag8 Posted February 3, 2006 CID Share Posted February 3, 2006 Sorry Luke777 but that is the right speed that you are getting. Tweaking may cause your internet to go slower!
