richcornucopia Posted February 3, 2006 CID Share Posted February 3, 2006 Thats running really hot, possibly a faulty sensor. How hot does the heatsink feel?
TimPawlak Posted February 3, 2006 Author CID Share Posted February 3, 2006 Yeah, hopefully it is a faulty sensor.. i felt the CPU it didnt seem to hot, the heatsink wasnt bad eaither. thanks, tim....... P.S will report more problems
dlewis23 Posted February 3, 2006 CID Share Posted February 3, 2006 you should really make sure your heatsink is installed correctly, ive seen alot of LGA775 socket Heatsinks were one corner is not pushed down correctly and the cpu runs that hot because it can't transfer the heat correctly. You should really just make shure.

peepnklown Posted February 4, 2006 CID Share Posted February 4, 2006 Yeah, 66C-74C average, I would look into adding more cooling inside the tower.
