trogers Posted February 15, 2006 CID Share Posted February 15, 2006 In order to make a ccs file, you need 2 vital info: MTU value and latency. Perhaps you may want to try making your own using this link as a guide: http://www.j79zlr.com/cablenutXP2k.php

trogers Posted February 16, 2006 CID Share Posted February 16, 2006 What is the speed you paid your ISP to give you? You need to do this test and post your results: https://www.speedguide.net/analyzer.php

tommie gorman Posted April 20, 2006 CID Share Posted April 20, 2006 You might actually try PMing Van since he is the best. And I have not researched the different files for DSL but I doubt there is one for that size already posted. Most DSL starts with 1500 kbps. Actually on a 128 kbps you are already at 89% of your advertised speed. But Van could help the most.

tommie gorman Posted April 22, 2006 CID Share Posted April 22, 2006 Again, I would say that that is pretty close to your advertised speeds. But maybe Van can do something. Try PMing him.

tommie gorman Posted April 22, 2006 CID Share Posted April 22, 2006 Yes I am. Actually Hughes, net now. And AMC9 is my satelite. 1310 is like frequency or something. It saved a lot of time when I first started so people could get info for my questions or answers without having to post.
VanBuren Posted April 22, 2006 CID Share Posted April 22, 2006 post the info asked for in the sticky http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-2097 116 Kbps of 128 is good 116/128 = 0,90625 x 100 = 91% of advertised then add approx 7 to 10 % TCP overhead and you are at your cap VanBuren
