VanBuren Posted April 5, 2006 CID Share Posted April 5, 2006 If you want to try something different enter your specs into this calculator.http://www.j79zlr.com/cablenutXP2k.php hey j3grizz you dont need to spam that link to every thread its all in the sticky http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-2097 15. Go to VanBuren testmy.net Cablenut settings and install Cablenut 4.08 and Vanburens cablenut settings version 7 16. If you choose to build your own tweakfile with j79zlr's webpage, I suggest to leave SynAttackProtect to 0, and use a latency value between 150 and 300 ms. If your calculated TcpWindowSize is above 65535 and your webrowsing seem sluggish, i suggest to test with a TcpWindowSize and GlobalMaxTcpWindowsize that is 44 x ( your MSS value ) and change Tcp13230pts to 0. chase56 Posted April 6, 2006 CID Share Posted April 6, 2006 I had a question I dowloaded the version seven and eight and did not see a setting for cable 8000 768 which is what I have. Should I just use the 6000 768 that is in version 7 or maybe use the dsl 8000 768 even though i have cable?
richcornucopia Posted April 7, 2006 CID Share Posted April 7, 2006 I had a question I dowloaded the version seven and eight and did not see a setting for cable 8000 768 which is what I have. Should I just use the 6000 768 that is in version 7 or maybe use the dsl 8000 768 even though i have cable? Try both and see what gives you better results, there is no one perfect cablenut css so you tweak it a bit and find what works best.
