All is well in the morning here in Las Vegas for my download speeds. My upload is always the same. I really hate later on in the afternoon when my download drops form 4 mb/s to MAX 1.5 mb/s. URGH!

Maybe your RX level is borderline bad.

Post your signal levels (if you have a Moto modem or other modem that allows you to view diagnostics).

Try this: http://192.168.100.1

If It's a Motorola modem, look under "Signal" tab.

Your levels look very good.

Receive level right around 0dBmV which is optimum.

You just may have a congestion problem as you were implying.

K, Thank You. I think it is the amount of users online in the evening as opposed to in the morning. I've heard that Cox here in Vegas sucks compared to in Phoenix. I'll be moving back to AZ in July and I will be getting the 9 mb/s DL and 1 mb/s UL. Man am I excited.

I have heard the same thing about Cox LV .

Hopefully they will get with it some day.

Yeah I would hope so. The City is growing immensly!!! But the city is so poorly constructed that I don't know how they could improve anything, if that makes any sense.
