:?I've had a strange occurrence. At one time in my computers life, actually it was in the beginning when I built it as a matter of fact. I bought one stick @512mgs of ram (dimm), it was before you could install the big memory sticks like a 1000mgs. Well any way I have only got 384 mgs now . The system is a P4 1.7gig processor the OS is XP home sp2 and the networking is adsl. I really do not know how or who or what STOLE my ram :evil6:

Onboard video shares your ram. Mine uses 64meg of ram. In bios I can use 128 or 64 meg. It also subtracts what it uses so if you got 512meg and video uses 128meg you are left with 384meg of ram. I have 1024 ram but when go to MY Computer and properties it says I have 960. 960+64 =1024
