Timeout no matter what

yo, i'm new here but i haven't been able to figure out why i have high latencies. for the dl speed test i get:

This was tested from a 2992 kB file and took 9.578 seconds to complete

but when i run  tracert.testmy.net all i get are timeouts for every single one, any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum tacheon  .

Is your computer clean? No virues, spyware etc? Do you run a firewall, antivirus, are you connected wirelessly? More info would be helpful.

nope, used avg and nortons and no diff, used ad-aware and no difference. i'm connected via router, but i connected to that and it is connected to the modem with ethernet cable. it didn't used to do this either, when i got the router (november-ish) it could ping fine. and its not the speed thats an issue, its above what i'm supposed to get, just wondering why my latencies are, well, non-existant. and if u need any more info, just post and i'll get back very quickly, any help appreciated

I think your ISP might be blocking pings...
