php Posted April 12, 2006 CID Share Posted April 12, 2006 Welcome to the forum It's not likely you'll get faster, you're already over your advertised speed. See this if you want to try to get it faster. Also, how's your upload?

resopalrabotnick Posted April 12, 2006 CID Share Posted April 12, 2006 unlikely, since you are already faster than you are paying for. any increase would be minimal. the risk is borking a setting and ending up slower. (since you just went from dialup to this speed, enjoy it for now. once the novelty wears off, take the time to do research and try some teaks. that way the new toy stays new longer.) Take it from me personally, i used to get almost 8mb down.. my advertised was 7mb. But after too much tweaking im now at 5-6mb .. i barely get 7 any more =/
