amish Posted April 28, 2006 CID Share Posted April 28, 2006 I just got a D-Link DGL-4300 wireless router, with 4 gigabit LAN ports. Upgraded from a Netgear WGT624, which was a disaster, having to restart it a couple times a day when I visit an ebay ad with a lot of pictures, or a P2P program. This D-Link has a great web configuration, and a lot of options. But I didn't agree with it being a "gaming" router, the only thing that goes toward that is the gamefuel software built into it. I also get much faster speeds on the wireless, compared to the netgear, (about 3-4 mbits faster). Plus the blue LEDs make it look nice. And so far no problems at all. It even has a heat sink. But it is a little pricy, I paid $150 from CompUSA.
