And it is the same socket, look at the CPU-Z screenshots. just because its the same socket doesnt mean it will work. according to what you are saying a 478 core duo will then work because its the same socket. There's a slight difference between a dual core processor and a just a different core. The only real difference between the two CPUs is the cache. Everything else is the same.
