asubaseball727 Posted May 14, 2006 CID Share Posted May 14, 2006 To change that: Right click anywhere on the desktop, properties, go to the screen saver tab and click Power... Then turn off standby or whatever you need from there.
Swimmer Posted May 14, 2006 CID Share Posted May 14, 2006 hibernation it will cause you are physically turning off the computer and saving the desktop/active memory on to the hard disk.. Standby should work as long as the hard disks are not shut off.. From what I have seen is that most bittorrent programs dont allow the computer to go into standby.. they allow the monitor to go to sleep and then turn off.. but the computer never gets into full standby.
