blackviper04 Posted May 17, 2006 Author CID Share Posted May 17, 2006 To be honest I have done everything possible I can do. I was talking to my mate last night and he come up with this great explaination that no-one else has come up with!..... My router is getting 8Mb downstream which is what it has been upgraded too (Supposedly)... Well the router is right, The Explaination... BT Have opened an 8mb connection, Basically a bigger pipe from a 2 mb, doesn't mean the traffic down the pipe is going to be 8mb through different factors... 1. BT haven't been running 8mb for long for residental users. 2. Bugs are cropping up all over the place. 3. Blockages are cropping up everywhere. Anyway managed to get BT to test my line yesterday and there is a fault between the server and my line, so they have given me a fault reference and it will be dealt with within a 48hr period. I am posting this also for other people that are having this problem and to bere this in mind. Thanks
