Download Stats ..::: Connection is:: 5918 Kbps about 5.92 Mbps (tested with 2992 kB) Download Speed is:: 722 kB/s Tested From:: https://testmy.net (Server 1) Test Time:: 2006/05/16 - 3:17pm Bottom Line:: 103X faster than 56K 1MB Download in 1.42 sec Tested from a 2992 kB file and took 4.141 seconds to complete Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1) Diagnosis: Awesome! 20% + : 143.04 % faster than the average for host (swbell.net) Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-BLGHEX5M0 The most interesting thing about this is that the folks at SBC, now ATT&T, swore up and down that I couldn't get more than 1.5 mbps because I was '8100 feet' from the CO... I KNEW that I was less than 3100 feet from the CO so I had them force the upgrade order on my line. Looks like I picked up a little boost! I spent some time on the phone with tier II tech support and the guy I was working with throttled my line up to pretty much let it take what it could handle at my distance from the POP.
