x_6985381 Posted May 26, 2006 CID Share Posted May 26, 2006 Alright i play fine ingames on steam and what not, but playing battle field 2 my microphone drops out. and my team cant hear me how do i make it so it doesnt drop out? i turned off the voice in game still i get the drop off. Swimmer Posted May 26, 2006 CID Share Posted May 26, 2006 are you using teak speak? Might want to check you sounds settings and maybe lower them to medium and see if that corrects the problem.. resopalrabotnick Posted May 26, 2006 CID Share Posted May 26, 2006 some x.1 soundcards have connectors for the different speakers that double as the mic connector in 2.1 mode. do you have bf2 set to a 5.1 or 7.1 mode while the other game it works in is in 2 channel mode? if the card wants to use the plug to output sound of course it will kill it as an input.
