Hi i seem to have a problem with this site... i like the site because there are loads of friendly people wanting to help but everytime i seem to do a download test it also comes down as 3Meg im running on a 10Meg line and it is running at full speed so im not worried put i would jus like to know why testmy.net always seems to stop 3Meg.......

I did in the past run a 3 Meg line...... would that have anythin to do with it......

can you post a speed test here

so you have a 10MB file with what ISP?

have you tested with somewhere else to belive you are getting the 10MB?

Thats my speed test actually little bit slower.....

I know im running at 10Meg because downloading of a sites i get over 1MB a second........ put here is a little bit of another site

i hope i can get ntl10MB next year

i went to a friend house who had ntl 10mb but he was using the USB connection and could only get 5mb/s out of it

i can probably tell you why u only getting 3mb

cause you are testing against a server in the usa and at this time all the folks over in the usa have woken up and massive amount of trafic are hitting the net

as you seen you tested against a uk speed test i belive is the one you quoting above and u got the full 10MB

might be jus be traffic like you say im not worried cos i am gettin full 10Meg......

10MB is a dream love it but me being greddy i want more more more lol i think NTL are planning a 100MB link in very near future its a rumour but i damn hope they do follow through with it........ i also hope they change the upload speed its a measily 512KB lmao

they could at least give you 1mb upload would be more sensible
