resopalrabotnick Posted June 21, 2006 CID Share Posted June 21, 2006 this looks like you are due for a call to the isp. give them the values. they should be able to tell you how long it will take to straighten things out.
dimebag Posted June 21, 2006 Author CID Share Posted June 21, 2006 hi really thanks bro for very quick reply so you belive that the problem lies with my isp? cause i was not sure about so now i can call them and bring them to their senses :evil6:
Swimmer Posted June 21, 2006 CID Share Posted June 21, 2006 yeah a call would be a good idea.. looks like your signal might be a bit out of wack.. check your filters on your phones just to make sure they all of them have a solid connection.. The other thing you mentioned and I am slightly confused about is the USB and ethernet connection from the modem? ALWAYS use ethernet no matter what.. USB was never intended to be a networking technology for high speed internet..

resopalrabotnick Posted June 22, 2006 CID Share Posted June 22, 2006 up and down work on different frequency ranges. so one may be garbled while the other is ok. or the interference may not be as bad. or the modem may be more sensitive to noise than the dsl access multiplexer in the co. if the dslam can read the slightly noisy signal from the modem it doesn't mean that the much cheaper modem can read the slightly noisy signal from the dslam.
