tommie gorman Posted June 22, 2006 CID Share Posted June 22, 2006 Welcome to the forum Sathiroth. Post a speed test with the 2992 file test. What type of connection do you have anyway? DSL, cable, satelite? Try reading this. http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-4257 Also, are you running a registry cleaner?
MttFrog13 Posted June 22, 2006 CID Share Posted June 22, 2006 Welcome to the forum Sathiroth. Post a speed test with the 2992 file test. What type of connection do you have anyway? DSL, cable, satelite? Try reading this. http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-4257 Also, are you running a registry cleaner? Just asking, why do u ask is he running a registry cleaner? Would that interfere with an internet connection? I think ccleaner's messed up my connection once and i had to reinstall XP after backup registry didnt work
tommie gorman Posted June 23, 2006 CID Share Posted June 23, 2006 Well I actually do use ccleaner. But to be safe, you could just use your disk cleanup. It gets pretty close. But a lot of people in here use different cleaners. It does slow down the processing for my page loading if I don't keep it clean once in a while. So far I have had no problems. And it is a great way to deep clean. At least for me.
